One of the nice features of this tool set is that it comes with several 15mm sockets and Torx 45 bits which are necessities when working on an EZGO RXV golf car.

I upgraded to the 5amp hr 20V lithium batteries from the 1.5 amp hr batteries. The smaller battery pack that comes with the Cordless Drill/Impact driver combo kit just didn’t get the job done over the course of a busy day.

Chargers
The Lester Summit 2 Charger is an excellent golf car charger. We’ve used them quite a lot and found them to be durable and high performing. They come with an additional Bluetooth feature that is also handy. You can download their app on your Android or iPhone and remotely connect to the battery charger to monitory your golf car batteries. There are a few other nice features that come with the app. Pricey, but less expensive than OEM.

The MODZ Max is a pretty nice aftermarket charger for the price. The MODZ brand is owned by Golf Cart King, which is based in the US, but the charger is manufactured in China. We’ve sold these as lower cost alternatives to customers that don’t have the budget to spend on a replacement OEM charger. I haven’t had one come back yet with issues.

Towing & Hauling
I selected the 9ft Titan ramps because the longer length allows you to drive golf cars with a rear seat up into the back of a pickup bed without “bottoming out” the foot-rest of the rear seat on the ground.

I personally use the Curt 45900 adjustable trailer hitch and ball since we use trailers with both a 2″ ball and a 2 5/16″ ball. Additionally, since we haul trailers that can carry up to 6 golf cars using our Ford F250, the adjustable height is critical.
These ratchet straps selected are DOT approved with the smaller hooks. Good quality, and it’s always good to have an extra in your vehicle.
Lastly, I included some strap pads to prevent the ratchet or straps from rubbing against your golf car or vehicle.
